Monaco - Fontvieille

Fontvieille is a new neighbourhood built directly over the sea and around the Stade Louis II. It includes many buildings, including a diving pool, offices, the International University of Monaco, a swimming pool, a multipurpose room that can accommodate sporting events and a football field where it is possible to see the AS MONACO play. Fontvieille is a very nice residential area where most of the Monegasque workers go every day. It includes, besides the buildings mentioned above, many factories having the distinction of being discreet and clean, a fire-fighter rescue centre, offices and houses, but also a shopping centre with several shops located along McDonald and Carrefour. Finally, Fontvieille is also home to the new marina, also called the Port de Fontvieille, as well as the Grand Chapiteau which hosts various events throughout the year, including the renowned International Circus Festival.
